Registration Process

We are only accepting team registrations at this stage.

1. You will be sent a link to register with West Brisbane Falcons.
2. Once you are registered with the club, we will allocate you to your team.
3. Prior to the season starting you will be sent a second link to register in Basketball Connect for the competition, where you may be charged the additional registration fees below.

West Brisbane Falcons Club fees

Our club membership fee for the Seniors is $30.00.

Additional Registrations

Basketball Queensland (BQ) and Basketball Australia (BA) fees are 365-day products and are valid for 365 days from the date of payment. If your BQ fees are due before the season ends, you will be required to pay them at the time of registering for the season, and your expiry date will be extended for another 12 months from the original expiry date.

• Basketball Queensland (BQ) registration: all players are required to be registered with Basketball Queensland. If you are not already a member, an annual fee of $83.92 will be charged.
• Basketball Australia (BA) game development fee: $5.50.
• Brisbane Basketball Inc. (BBI) competition fee (seniors): $67.50.

Important Update: BBI changed their fee structure from the 2026 Season 1; previously players were charged a registration fee. Now players pay a competition fee which is applied to each competition that an individual registers for. Members who have a current BBI registration that extends into the coming season will receive a refund for the portion that overlaps the season dates. Refunds are processed from October (juniors) and February (seniors).

Registration fee summary

These are senior registration fees, per season. Game fees are charged separately for every game — see Game Fees below.

BBI game fees

These are per-team fees for each game. Your team splits the fee between the players who play, paid through the team pay app before tip-off. Game fees are charged on top of your registration fees.

Game fees cover the cost of court hire, score bench persons and qualified referees. They are divided evenly between players and must be paid in full using the team pay app before the game start time. If game fees are not paid prior to tip off, the game will not commence.

If your team cannot field a side for a scheduled game you must forfeit. The club still has to pay for court hire and referees, so the less notice you give, the more you pay.

If you need to send through a forfeit this is done via the team pay app.  You may be charged additional fees for a forfeit.
